"Class Preparation"
Be prepared to identify the common parameters of the different types of dynamic processors.
Bring published recordings (not your projects) on CD to listen to in class.
This chapter includes few facts but a ton of advice. In class, be prepared to briefly list four tips from the reading you plan to use in your recording projects this semester. Select your tips in advance. You’ll have five minutes in class to write them out in class.
The panorama reading is short but big on concept and listening. Come to class familiar with terms like phantom center, big mono, and hard panning.
Remember to keep up with your highpass/lowpass drills!
