Called the “Producer’s Genre” due to the large amounts of control that the producers had in the creation of the songs.

Disco was the first type of music that wasn’t created for performance, but instead to be played in dance halls. The closest thing to a performer in these environments was the DJ.

The 70′s Also Coincided with the commercialization of the synthesizer, and 24 track audio.
