Texas A&M music students will present a concert of live electronic music on Tuesday, January 31 at 7:30 P.M. in the Fallout Theatre (Blocker Building, Room 140). Admission is free.

The students will perform their own compositions that explore the impact of technology on creative expression. They will use traditional instruments along with computer interfaces and will spatialize the sound live in three dimensions.

“Our students are exploring the impact of technology on creativity by immersing themselves in cutting edge technology and rediscovering what musicality means to them,” said Studio Director Jeff Morris.

The PerfTech initiative in the Texas A&M University Department of Performance Studies gives students research experiences through technology-based performances.
