Biography:
Adam Smith received a B.A. (2006) in Interdisciplinary Anthropology and a M.A. (2008) in Higher Education Administration from the University of Akron (OH).
As a higher education professional, Adam continues to establish his career in Academic Advisement with The Department of Performance Studies. Before coming to Texas A&M University in 2011, Adam worked at the University of Akron, working with general admission and honors student populations. Adam has experience in other student service areas, including Admissions, Developmental Programs, NCAA Compliance, International Programs, and Fellowships Advising.
Adam has a longstanding commitment to the performing arts and has a substantial history of community involvement in theatre and music.
Adam has held memberships with the Association for International Educators (NAFSA), the National Academic Advising Association (NACADA), and the National Association of Fellowships Advisors (NAFA).
